Our success hinges on a high-performance, low-latency technology platform that operates in a fast-paced market environment. As we expand our operations, we are seeking a talented Student Software Developer to join our core team and make a direct impact on our growth.
The Role:
You will be a key contributor to our trading technology stack, with the opportunity to work across the entire software lifecycle. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize the systems that drive our trading strategies. We are looking for a developer who thrives on complex challenges and is passionate about building robust, data-intensive applications.
Key Qualifications:
- Currently studying for a bachelors or masters degree in computer science (or a related degree). To qualify, you must have completed course work relating to software engineering and architecture.
- Strong proficiency in the following programming languages and preferably the frameworks mentioned in parentheses:
- Backend: Java (specifically Kotlin and Spring Boot)
- Frontend: TypeScript (React)
- Data & Analytics: Python (NumPy, Pandas/Polars, and relevant ML libraries are a bonus, but mostly just a fundamental understanding will suffice)
- An ambition to solve complex problems and building high-quality, scalable software.
- Ability to excel in a collaborative, start-up environment where initiative and ownership are valued.
